About Me

Hi there and thank you for stopping to take a look!

My name is Victoria and I'm a freelance illustrator and surface designer, living in the South West of England.

Originally I studied ceramic design at Staffordshire University and spent some time as a potter. Highlights included selling a range of functional ware through David Mellor Design, Sloane Square as well as exhibiting at the V&A Museum in London. A move from London to the countryside however marked a change in creative direction.

I am fascinated by the ever changing forms found in nature and find much of my current inspiration there. When developing a theme, a large emphasis is placed upon drawing, painting and manipulating materials before fine tuning aspects digitally.

Clients include: The Schurman Retail Group, Rambler LA and I can also be found in the Print and Pattern Designers Directory.

If you see something you like, please feel free to get in touch. I am always delighted to discuss commissions and licensing opportunities.

Victoria is an incredibly talented and versatile artist who takes art direction really well. Our company has partnered with Victoria to create artwork for some of our gifting product. She has executed a range of styles and subject matter beautifully. She takes the extra time to make sure the artwork she creates is right for our project needs and is very easy to work with.

Victoria designed the Sea Breeze pattern for the launch of our Rambler mats.  From start to finish she was incredibly responsive, professional and all around wonderful to collaborate with.  She understood the aesthetic I wanted and produced a beautiful end product!  It is one of our most loved patterns!  I would happily contact her again in the future as her work is excellent.
